Managing my time

As a writer it is important for me to manage my time, so I can focus on working on my blogs, books and looking after my son and creating videos. I also want to work in Healthcare or Childcare too, to help me build my content and support others.

I plan for the week ahead aswell as daily because of important dates and working around appointments and recently around train strikes and my son school holidays. This week is his last week of school and the summer holidays begin and I have to work around that and that I remember dates and making sure my son has fun and enjoys the holidays.

It means creating a different schedule so I can still get my videos up, blogs and work on my book, but managing it so I don't have so much to do. What we are avoiding is burn out.

Taking a break is important, as sitting in front of my laptop all the time can cause mind blank, so get out and I find when out is and go for a walk with my son helps to generate ideas for my books and blogs, along with videos.

I do like to work on my book in the evenings and write my blogs in the mornings or during the day but I will spend some time on my book in the mornings but break it up so I do some in the mornings and some in the evenings and I like to read my book before bed, and listen to an audiobook whilst travelling.

I also spend time researching and do free training to improve my skills and knowledge example I am watching a video whilst writing this blog about planning and organizing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8ntEgFSo1s

It is good to keep building your knowledge as that is where a lot of ideas of content comes from and helps me manage my time and making sure I am productive and have time to switch off and spend time with my son and my other family and friends.

To let you know I have created a life coaching programme called "Summer Project 2023" to help you have a better life and better year and can be found on my blog site: https://everyonecanbuildacastle.com

Many thanks for reading,
