The Cosy Days of Autumn

I do like to write in the Autumn with a cozy jumper, a cup of tea and the heating on as it can get cold indoors. I find it hard getting things done when I am cold. Watching other writers on Youtube many have  candles lit and their favourite writing clothes. I love being in my PJ's and writing, mainly in the evenings . When I do some walking I like coming back, had a Earl Grey tea and write.



I like to take a break when it is lunchtime and at dinner time. I am not always a lunch person, but when I do it is comforting meals, like hot sandwiches or soup and a roll. 

Listening to slow and chill out music sometimes when writing a blog or working on a book. Having a baked good. This is not all the time, in a coffee shop and I have a scribble book and to jot down ideas as I do have three youtube channels and 13 blog sites.  It is good to have a hot chocolate too if not a cup of tea and coffee. I like to watch TV and watching Dramas. The programmes I have been loving as I write comedy, Motherland and Amandaland on BBC and the Drama currently, because I am working on a Thriller, is Keep the Faith. 

I read a lot especially in the Autumn and it just gives me so much joy and not worry about the days getting darker and focus on the good, rather than the bad.

If you to write blog and books, you need that time to yourself, and it is all about routine and flexibility.  When you write is up to you, and doing the school drop off, rather than pick up, will give me a whole day still to write and anything else required.  I will be bringing some writing with me and create a school run travel bag, with bits to do my work and make up bag, to do make up at old home, to be with my son, before he is taken to school. Writing during the School Summer Holidays

It is coming up to the last weeks of the School Summer Holidays, and fitting in writing has been not that tricky, but when I haven't written for most of the day, I get itchy fingers.  Being a mum and a writer of blogs and books and setting up online courses and videos too, it has to be on hold and have gotten used to it.  Being a mum I don't mind putting my writing on hold, and I do what I can and use the evenings and if I get up early enough, in the mornings aswell.  This does include planning and settting out time, gettng earlier than usual and using what time I have. I do write myself lists and go through what I would like to write to what I want to get done first. Usually it is writing or finishing off a blog post and then working on my books.  I like to write one comedy, one serious novel and a self help or a biographical type book.  It is fitting around planned activities and events. What Type of Books do I like to read

 Hello, so this is part of my Tea and Biscuits series of videos and so please watch below to listen on the books I like to read.  People often think if you write books you don't neccessarily read them, but I do, its what has made me want to have books published myself and I like writing, and reading has helped me immensley and you can't beat a good book.  If it has all the atributes that connects me with the story in being a true or a fiction book, then it is for me a set winner and my love of books has never washed away. I do take breaks as i do ready books back to back, but then need to have some weeks or months to not read any.  Audible in that respect is good, for listening to books rather than reading them all of the time.  So, if you are sitting the garden why not find a good book, with a cup of coffee and just chill.
